Now today of 22nd of Jan is the "back to school day!" for most students in Australia!! It is also the first day for Otsuma Nakano exchange students to join St. Andrew's Catholic College for term 1 of 2018.
Nanaka Otaki and Yuka Saito, senior first graders of Otsuma Nakano, have kicked off their study abroad program for one term long at St. Andrew's Catholic College, a sister school of Otsuma Nakano in Australia. Today is the very first day of the academic year of 2018 for all of St. Andrew's students as well as Otsuma Nakano exchange students.
St. Andrew's and Otsuma Nakano started our exchange program in 2008. Since then, the friendship and relationship between both schools have been developing so far, which has also given many students from both schools outstanding occasions to learn cultural diversity and first hand intercultural communication.
From now on, Nanaka and Yuka are making their great journey and explorartion of learning multi-cultural understanding, cross cultural communication skills as well as improving their Enlgish language proficiency, which will allow them to find their potential power and themsevles.
On this page of Otsuma Nakano website, we are very happy and proud to share their updated study report on their lives at St. Andrew's Catholic College. We hope you can imagine you are also making journey together with them in Australia.
