From America – Study at the University of Saint Joseph #4
Great Sunday brings beautiful sunshine with cool breeze to us! Yes, it is a perfect day for hanging out. We departed USJ for Boston on the bus at 8:00 in the morning. Two hours bus ride took us to Boston Aquarium.
At the aquarium, USJ language partners guided us to all displays of fish and sea creatures. The New England Aquarium is famous for its Giant Ocean Tank, which features more than 2000 fish in the tank and 140 numbers of species. Students walked around this Giant Ocean Tank with their language partners.
And then we took a tour trolley bus to hang around the main Boston historic spots. Boston is the city of rich history and legacy of arts, culture and American democracy. The history of Boston plays a central role in American history. Boston was founded in 1630, which has been the center of New England since then until today. The trolley bus driver made interesting explanation about each historic spot in Boston with humor.
It's been a long day today, when we got back to our USJ dorm at 8:00 in the evening. But all of us can feel how rich and complicated American history has been. This visit to Boston will be a great memory in their future.
