The Global Gate – 大妻中野のホームページの最初の言葉です。文字通り、ここから世界が見えます。皆さんが世界へデビューしていくステップがここです。Now you can find our eye-opener wording of “Otsuma Nakan as the Global Gate” when you see the cover page of our website.  Yes, this is where you will take a look at the whole world and your first stepping stone into the globalized world.

今回も大妻中野の世界12か国のネットワークから、フランスとニュージーランドの教育提携校からメッセージをここに紹介します。Now it’s our great pleasure to share the following special messages from our partners in France and New Zealand.

Dear All of Otsuma Nakano,

Everyone at Saint-Denis International School in France is thinking of you all, our friends and partners from Otsuma Nakano, during this challenging time.  Traveling is an incredible way to expand our horizons, by allowing us to learn about new cultures and languages.  Right now, it is impossible to do this, but don’t lose hope just yet.  We are thinking of you and your families, and also of the students from your school who studied with us at Saint-Denis this year, including Mizuki ISHIBASHI who is still with us.  We hope the current situation does not damage our close relationship, that was built with the same enthusiasm on both sides of the world, but that it strengthens our ties of sincere and genuine friendship.

フランス、サンドニ・インターナショナル校一同は、今、この大変な困難に立ち向かっているパートナーで、友人である大妻中野の皆さんのことをいつも想っています。私たちはこれまでお互いの国を行き来してきました。それは、お互いの文化、言葉について学びあい、広い視野、考え方を身につける上でほんとうに素晴らしい方法です。残念ながら、今このことが不可能になっています。　しかし希望を失ってはいけません。

私たちは、皆さんのこと、皆さんのご家族のこと、そして、今年、サンドニで一緒に学んだ大妻中野の皆さんのことを考えています　石橋瑞葵さんは今もここサンドニで一緒に勉強しています。この状況が、大妻中野とサンドニの親密な友好関係にダメージを与えることなどありません。私たちの関係は、世界の中で日本とフランスの両方からの熱い思いで作られてきたからです。この状況は私たちの誠実で真の友好関係をむしろ強めていくのです。

Dear staff and students of Otsuma Girls’ School

The Principal, Staff, Buddies, Homestays and International Department at Sacred Heart Girls College in NZ hope that you are all well and safe. This is an unusual and testing time for all of us. New Zealand has been in lockdown for three weeks now and we hope to hear soon from our Prime Minister whether this can be downgraded and life may get back to normality – or as near to it as can be at this time. Meanwhile, the girls at Sacred Heart Girls’ College are working from home doing work via the internet set by teachers.

私たち、ニュージーランド・セィクレッド・ハート・ガールズ・カレッジは、校長を始め、一同、大妻中野の皆さんが元気に過ごされていることを心から願っております。この異例の状況は私たち皆にとって試練の時間だと思います。ニュージーランドでは都市が封鎖されてから3週間が経ちました。この都市封鎖が解消されて、いつもの生活を取り戻すことができる、またはそれに近い状況になったという発表が首相からされることを切に願っております。

セイクリッドハートガールズカレッジでは近い将来、大妻中野の皆さまと再び、お会いできることを楽しみにしています。
