From the UK, Report from Mayu M. at Simon Langton Girls Grammar S at Canterbury 021520

Hi! I’m Mayu from Canterbury in the UK.  I am an exchange student for Simon Langton Girls Grammar School in Canterbury.  Today, I am going to talk about what I did in February 16th.

Canterbury is very famous for Canterbury Cathedral, which is one of World Heritage Sites, and the top of Church of England. However, it is unfortunately that I couldn’t visit there because it was under construction. Still, I could enjoy the atmosphere with the sound of the bell.

What’s more, I saw a movie ‘Dolittle’.  I can’t tell you the details about the film because it hasn’t released in Japan.  I know it will be spoiled if I tell you how the story is going, but I am sure that it’s a really exciting movie. I want to see it again when it is released in Japan.

こんにちは、イギリス、カンタベリーのサイモン・ラングトン・グラマースクール留学中の三宅です。今回は2/16(日)の市内観光について話します。

カンタベリーは世界遺産であり、イングランド国教会の総本山・カンタベリー大聖堂のある街…なのですが、この日は工事中で行けませんでした…。それでも、鐘の音で雰囲気だけは楽しめました。

それと、「Dolittle」(邦題:「ドクター・ドリトル」)という映画を見ました。日本では未公開の為ネタバレになってしまうので詳細は言えませんが、とてもハラハラドキドキする映画です。日本で公開されたらまた見たいです。それではまた次回。
