Dr. Takahiko Hattori’s special lesson – Developing English Essay Writing Skill –
Otsuma Nakano is proud to announce that a special lesson will be held on October 6th, Tuesday in Otsuma Nakano School. This class is open to all who have interested in English writing. We are happy if you would make a contact with us when you join this class in advance.
In this lesson, Developing English Essay Writing Skill, Dr. Hattori will give you several important points and many specific examples about writing logical essays which convey your message clearly. First, you can learn logical development and organization of a paragraph, which is essential to understand English for academic purpose. Second, you will practice writing a good English essay, which is well organized and logically coherent. What’s more, Dr. Hattori will show you how your essay is evaluated when you take a writing test. This special lesson will be beneficial to you when you take university entrance exams, TOEFL, 1st grade of Eiken and United Nations Associations Test of English.
Takahiko Hattori, Ph.D., is Professor of Linguistics and Language Research at Otsuma Women’s University, Japan. In addition, he works for Otsuma Nakano Junior and Senior High School as a supervisor of English and global education. He has published extensively, and made presentations both in Japan and North America. His research interests include second language attrition and English language instruction in the Japanese High school context.
