グローバル始まる　”Global” rises !

Otsuma Nakano Junior & Senior High School has been accredited as one of the "Super Global High School Associates" by the Ministry of Education.  These high schools focus on understanding the rapidly developing  world and fostering  global leaders that can be internationally active in the future.

In accordance with this accreditation, the school is now planning to set up a new extracurricular program, which will involve approximately 35 junior and senior high school students who are interested in activities such as discussing world-wide topics and going abroad for volunteer work in Asian countries.  Those 35 girls will make up a team called the "Otsuma Nakano Frontier Team."

Principal Ms.Miyazawa announced the new project to the Otsuma Nakano students on April 8th, commencement day, and immediately received a great response  from the students.  Over 100 students applied for the team, and selected members will start their new project in May.  This project will surely ignite their interests.  Otsuma Nakano is stepping into the new era of globalization.
