From New Zealand-Study at New Plymouth & Sacred Heart#14

Millions of thanks to host families, New Plymouth

Girls’ High School, Sacred Heart Girls’ College, and

people in New Zealand. Today is the final day of our

program.

Before the day broke, we woke up and had breakfast

at 6:00. Even when we arrived at the Auckland Airport,

it was still dark. Then we said the last good-bye. It was

“good-bye to Teffrey,” who is the coordinator of this

program, our ESOL teacher, and our best host mother.

The flight was about 10 hours, and we finally arrived

at Narita Airport. We had a hot welcome by the summer

of Japan and a warm welcome by our “home” family.

今日は、6時から朝食でした。夜明け前にもかかわらず

1人も寝坊せず、時間通りに集合です。

大急ぎで朝食を終えたらすぐに空港へ。

チェックインを済ませたら、いよいよここでテフリー先生とも

お別れ。今度は日本の、大妻中野で会える日を楽しみにさよなら

をしました。

帰りは昼間の飛行機ですが、疲れも出てきたのかぐっすり

寝て過ごす生徒もいました。

10時間ほどのフライトを無事に済ませ、さあ成田空港です。

真冬のニュージーランドを離れ真夏の日本と、さらには家族

の温かい出迎えが待っていました。

今日は久しぶりの我が家でゆっくり休んで疲れをとってください。

17名の妻中生、本当によく頑張りました。お疲れ様！！
